It is no secret the air we breathe is continuously
getting worse. Our daily consumption of it is 15-16
kg, which is well above the same norm with foodstuffs
and drinking water. Everyday a human body inhales 15-100
mg of poison: carbon monoxide, formaldehyde, phenol,
benzopyrene, etc.
Since quality medical treatment is less affordable
now and measures for environmental protection undertaken
are certainly not enough, it is time we started making
individual steps towards our own health conditions improvement.
It is time we took care of the air we breathe.
Nowadays, the most effective means of air purification
of organic and inorganic air contaminants is the photocatalytic
oxidation. Scientists estimate this to be the main method
of air purification in the 21st century.
