Where should
I place an air purifier? |
First of all, it should be a room you spend most
of your time in. More often this is a bedroom. Please
note: it is restricted to use an air purifier in
humid areas, i.e. in bathrooms. A purifier is to
be located close to the middle of a wall. It is
not recommended to place it under a table or in
any other places where air exchange is limited.
Air purifiers are not applicable for use in extra
large premises or in facilities with an extremely
high level of air exchange (i.e. stairwells), as
in this case their purification efficiency will
be dramatically decreased. |
How often do I need to replace
“Sevezh-60” dust filters? |
Dust filters should be replaced once every 3-4
months. In practice, it is the appearance of unaesthetic
gray spots on the filter surface that indicates
your filter needs replacement. |
Why in description of the
technical specifications of the “Sevezh-45” air
purifier in the field “Dust particles less than
4 microns in size” nothing is indicated? |
The “Sevezh-45” air purifier is an effective
device for eliminating various gaseous and biological
contaminants. It does not purify air of particles
less than 4 microns in size.
|
How much power do AIRLIFE
purifiers consume? |
Power consumption of the AIRLIFE purifiers is
considerably low. In day mode “Sevezh-45” and “Sevezh-60”
models consume 40 W, in night mode – 30 W. Power
consumption of the “Sevezh-35” and “Sevezh-50” models
is as follows: day mode – 20 W, night mode – 15
W. Power consumption of the AIRLIFE purifiers is
equivalent to the one of a common electric light
bulb. |
Is there any sense in purchasing
more than one purifier? |
A purifier causes greater effect on the room
it operates in. However, due to the air exchange
adjacent rooms air gets slightly purified as well.
To reach maximum efficiency, it is well recommended
to equip every room of your home with a purifier
|
How does the AIRLIFE purifier
work? |
See page Photocatalysis
|
Are AIRLIFE purifiers safe
for children? |
AIRLIFE purifiers meet both general safety standards
(IEC-335-1) and special standards for air purifiers
(IEC-335-2-65). If a child or even an adult tries
to insert a finger into the AIRLIFE purifier, he
will not be able to reach any hazardous elements.
|
Do I have to switch off
my air purifier when I leave home? |
Better purification results may be achieved only
on condition of continuous operation of a purifier.
Otherwise your home will be repeatedly refilled
with airborne contaminants. |
What will happen if I forget
to turn off the purifier, when I go out on vacation? |
Nothing dramatic will happen. AIRLIFE purifiers
are designed for continuous operation, so they will
simply be purifying air inside your home while you
are on vacation. |
What is the life-cycle of
an AIRLIFE purifier? |
Designed for continuous operation AIRLIFE purifies
will last you not less than five - ten years.
|
What are the “Saprophyte-mites”? |
“Saprophyte-mite” is a microorganism, which is
one of the most bly allergenic materials found
indoors. There are more than 150 varieties of dust
mites known today. We can divide them all into 3
large categories. The first one, which is the most
substantial for those suffering from all kinds of
allergies finds its nutrition and reproduces in
house dust. Unevenly spread throughout the house,
dust mites find their prime habitat in beds. The
second category is the one that eats up the first
one, the third category dust enters the house accidentally.
Dust mites can be effectively eliminated by using
AIRLIFE purification systems.
